"The Exorcist" is called "The scariest movie of all time" and it is a legendary movie of the 70s. The movie had a creepy atmosphere, scary girl and the famous demon "Pazuzu". Everything that will make your skin crawl. The soundtrack is a gem, like the movie itself. Scary and beautiful...

  • You atheists drive me insane. Why do you insist on commenting on religion being wrong. Let people have their opinion.

  • @SydBarrett7 I have seen this movie a gazillion times and I still ca not watch it alone or in the dark

  • @siltholowen13 That's kind of you to lump us all together and say that /all/ of us comment on the belief that religion is wrong, like we're all dicks. You know what drives me crazy? Dicks who stereotype.

  • @ChristianNYC watch and laugh about everything like me in the movie :DD you will love it :DD

  • @wandererlain I already watched it and downloaded it from graboid video.com. Maybe fake but it's the thought that counts.

  • @TonyShow82 Oh, sweet Jesus, I've seen that fake snuff movie online. Fucking nasty! I mean, a guy sticking his dick in a split-open woman's guts is fucking nasty. But not good film making. Just horrible. Do you really want to watch that shit?

  • @wandererlain Well, as myself being a staunch atheist I was more than not being shocked by the movie but I view it as a dark mythology/fairy tale. Am I the only one on this earth to be unaffected by this movie lmgdfao! Want to see something that's more realistic, might I recommend August Underground's Mordum?

  • @TonyShow82 I'm an atheist and this scared the fuck out of me. How people are unaffected by this movie shocks me.

  • @roxannelilith09 I'm not religious and this film nearly killed me LOL

I'm lucky to be alive leaving that cinema (I saw the reissue with all the footage put back in).

I identified it with mental illness, which I grew up seeing in my family. That's what I think this movie is about, in spite of the religious tone. It's about the horror of mental illness in the family, which many of us can identify with.

  • I don't think that this film is less effective whether you're religious or not. Even if you believe that Regan isn't possessed, it's still a traumatic film about a little girl going insane, and a priest who has lost his mother and feels guilty about it. Intelligence/'gullibility' doesn't come into it either, I found this film MUCH scarier when I rewatched it at the age of 18 rather than 12, because I noticed all the bizarre little details put in as well as the obvious violence.

  • @ACruelPicture you are douche im' catholic

  • spiderwalk!
