"The Economics of Oil"
Ken Peterson, Professor of Economics, Furman University

Last November, a gallon of regular gasoline in South Carolina cost $2.64 per gallon. Six months later, the price had grown nearly 40 percent to $3.73 per gallon. What are the forces that drive the price at the pump? Dr. Peterson will explain what causes the often wild price fluctuations of oil and gasoline.
