  • i am i die hard classic rock fan and to me this is pure talent that gives me an eargasm

  • I was there, back then. It was an extremely intense change in my life and I related to GFR. Of course the so-called critics will say otherwise, but GFR represented a monumental new sound in ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!, They were the best in my eyes, back then and i still listen to them now. Induct them immediately into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame.

  • so incredible.

  • I was born in 57 bay city this is what we grew up with gfr ted nugent bob seager & others i cant remember too much fun i guess

  • Farners guitar sound is unique to all of rock and this song demonstrates it........he played a messager guitar out of SanFran.........the first metal neck guitar I believe and a semi hollow body........I know he replaced the stock pickups and then taped up the f-holes on the body to keep it from feedbacking..............and then coupled with his vibrato of his hands made the funkiest sound guitar when he played it clean...........just love that hollow dobro/stratocaster hypbrid type sound

  • One of the best bands of all time. They tried to give a message way back then. Hear the screaming????? Guess no one got it.

  • Tells all...... from Flint

  • You need to listen to Grand Funk Live "In Need" from 1970 , then you'll see.

  • preatty rough ,thinking that I had to be rocked out hard from a song from back in 1971,,,thanks guys,,,,..

  • listen Howard Tate song "eight days on the road ",thats was Mark farner influence

  • I loved this particular stage in the Funk-us-evolution. What a voice...what a bluesy psychedelic grind...I'm diggin' it.
