It took him so long to realize the problem because it was the speakers for the audience that stopped producing sound (the speakers themselves were fine; there was an electrical issue). So even though the audience heard nothing, the mix that he has in his monitors (which also act as earplugs) still sounds very, very similar to the way they normally would.

Were you 5th row outside the circle? And how much of this video is unzoomed?

@TheBryanSaraShow I was at the fence just outside the circle (so when they came out on the circle I was front row). Most of it is zoomed in just a little because I wanted to cut the crowd out of it. they were THE best seats every though
