This collaboration was born when ayavner listened to a few snellular5 covers
and suggested they collaborate on something.
After a little discussion, they decided on a tribute to one of the great
bands of the 70's - America, and an all time favorite, Tin Man.
It started when snellular5 recorded the first track - himself singing the
vocals and the 6 string strumming and sent it to ayavner.
ayavner then took the track and added an intro lead fill, 12 string
strumming, and background vocals.
Then sent it back to snellular5 who laid down some mean maracas. ayavner
then threw in the cymbals, triangle and piano riff.
The individual tracks were compiled by ayavner on a mac using GarageBand.
It was about this time that GilsMusic started posting some of his music in
STEREO.
GilsMusic converted ayavner's cover of Treetop Flyer to STEREO and ayavner
then asked if he would like to work on the Tin Man project. At this point,
it became a true multi-state/international collaboration! GilsMusic took
the raw .wav file and used his magic to do audio production and master a
truly sweet cut. GilsMusic then created a high quality STEREO video using
the remastered audio track.
