Amboy Dukes - "Journey to the Center of the Mind" - Detroit Music Awards 2009

The most anticipated song of The Amboy Dukes Reunion trilogy from the 2009 Detroit Music Awards. "Journey to the Center of the Mind" is a fan favorite like no other and you could tell Ted certainly appreciated that fact. He played with reckless abandon and tongue wagging swashbuckling demeanor only Ted Nugent could muster. Steve Farmer also got into the tongue wagging spirit of the moment.

The lighting and staging at The Fillmore in Detroit was superb. Kudos to The Motor City Music Foundation for putting on a great show with first class atmosphere.

The Amboy Dukes featured Ted Nugent on lead guitar, Andy Solomon on Hammond B 3, Rick Lober keyboards, Steve Farmer rhythm guitar, Jim Butler drums, John Drake lead vocal, Bill White bass.

@defleppardfan69 apparently Dave wasn't ready to play the gig so Jimmy Butler from The Gang filled in. Seeing as Gerg Arama and Steve Farmer were both in The Gang it made sense.
