As Elvis Costello once said, "writing about music is like dancing about architecture." We know different students learn in different ways, so integrating expressive arts into the school curriculum could help solidify a subject area than just studying to the test.
The Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley trains educators and designs interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates expressive arts into regular academic study. The Arts High School is presenting a mulit-media theater work inspired by short stories, photographs, diaries and paintings.
