I take it the sound with more drive is the EQ bypass? if so, I'd leave it out - the cleaner tones (on all guitars) sounds MUCH better.

@ guillermoSmeyer - there's a misunderstanding in this video - he's not amp switching! There is a new mod available for the Maz amp which switches teh circuit within a single amp between those two sounds, so he's just using ONE amp, and the footswitch! I agree, the video looks ambiguous because on another video he compares those two amps, but not here. Hope that clears things up??

only 1 comment really? Dr Z amps are great! The only criticism is I don't want to have to buy two expensive amps and an a/b pedal just to go from clean to dirty in a click.
