How I trim and rip a 6/4 oak slab in preparation for planing. I'm using a 24 tooth 8 1/4' general purpose Dewalt blade on my Makita 5008MGA. My EZ PBB is custom made by me, but not anything unusual. Check Dik Harrison's Blog (http://ezsmart.blogspot.com), the EurekaZone Site (http://www.eurekazone.com), and EurekaZone Forum (http://tracksawforum.com) for more information.

  • That's the EZ way to cut a slab of oak. Picture yourself pushing that uneven piece of wood through a table saw, I wouldn't want to. The EZ rail holds down the uneven Oak Slab with what is called the "Dead Wood Concept", it works and is very safe and very accurate.

I know because I am a big fan of the EZ products, and I own them.
