Very nice. Enjoyed it. Duck tape in the joints eh? Might try that.

Nice motionblur

That was awesome! Those sound effects were great, so was the rest of the work!

It's a 12" Stikfa that I bought online for about $90 if I remember. A little pricey I know. I painted it silver and added the eyes. They're not great for stop motion however. I had to put duct tape in all of the joints so they'd have enough "friction" to stay up and not slowly slip.

I used the sound effects from Final Cut Pro by Apple. They have a lot of really great ones. I also used a few SFX from some CD's I borrowed from the library.

I filmed this with a Panasonic DVC80 Digital video camera. I shot it at 30 frames per second and added a motion blur in Final Cut Pro. The smoke was added using Apple's Motion. Thanks for the comments. It's funny because I've been a huge fan of the art of stop motion and have read a lot about it. I'm just now taking some of what I've learned and am finally doing something with it.
