Sauce tip!
If you want that awesome sweet sauce, put the diced apples in a bowl and cover them with sugar. Put it in the microwave for a bit and then add your spices. Stir with a spoon and put back in. After about 3-4 minutes in the microwave, you should see the apple sauce coming out. I suppose this could be done in a saucepan, but I'm used to doing it in the microwave. That replaces the cooking of the apples, because by now they are really soft and ready to cover and fry.
