On Saturday, May 7th 48 students traveled to Nashville, TN to record 8 songs at Starstruck Studios, a world class recording studio owned by Reba McEntire. This was our longest recording session to date...running from 8 am to 3 am. The students recorded Loved By The Sun from 4 pm to 7 pm.

If you have ever seen the movie "Legend" then you know just how cool this song is.

This recording session was definitely a big production and wouldn't have been possible without the following people. Many of these individuals reduced their rates or worked for free in order to make this beautiful song come to life.

Clemens Schleiwies, for mixing and mastering the song. We were very excited to have Clemems mix and master the song because, like Tangerine Dream, he is from Germany. Clemens transferred the song to analog tape and then mixed it on his vintage Helios console which is from Hansa, a world famous studio in Berlin. Note: I am looking for cameramen, photographers and video editors to help out on future projects. The amount of work to create these videos is daunting, so any help would greatly appreciated. I've never seen the movie Legend, never heard this piece of music before. However, this was so professionally performed and captured that I almost feel I don't need to see the movie or hear the original piece. It sounded amazing and full of emotion. After the last video I watched I expected nothing less.

I just listened to the soundtrack from Legend and while the soundtrack from the movie was good...I have to say unequivocally that these students, the whole group, the instrumentals, the backup singers and the lead singer all far outshined the original done in the movie...Great Job to all!!! Each and everyone of you have done a great job, something to be proud of as a group and individually...Don't stop believing !
