@screamer42 different way of interpreting it.... the "I" itself may be on the end of each phrase musically but that doesn't necessarily hold true for the acting of the song. The "I" here is in the beginning of the next phrase because acting wise it is the beginning of a new thought in his interpretation. "Watch me rain til I pour. I'll catch a ship that will sail me astray." Versus running the two thoughts together, "Watch me rain til I pour I'll catch a ship that will sail me astray."
