No independent, mature human being needs the crutch of scientology. The poor Travolta kid is dead because of his parents' nutter beliefs, yet when Tom Cruise came out to do PR for Valkyrie on The View, he exploited a horrible tragedy to do PR for the Church of Scientology and openly defend their practices on a national venue. But, c'mon, it's too much to ask for feelings of our favorite "ruthlessly-ethical" Homo-Novus .

@DigbyCat whether its true or not, what does that have to do with him criticizing scientology? because someone fucked around or had an affair or did drugs or got arrested, they're not allowed to stand up to scientology for destroying lives? that's absolutely ridiculous and just another one of scientoloy's tactics to silence it's critics. please don't help them out. unless you're a cult member yourself, in which case you need to seek help to escape the cult and resources are available.
