The Talented Mr. Ripley

Том Рипли (Мэтт Деймон) знал, что рано или поздно он пробьётся наверх. Однажды, после случайного знакомства, один из богатейших людей Америки даёт Тому поручение: молодой человек должен отправиться в Италию и убедить его сына, транжирящего деньги в Европе, вернуться в Штаты. Вскоре Том уже знакомится с Дикки Гринлифом (Джуд Лоу) и Мардж (Гвинет Пэлтроу). Их роскошная жизнь очаровывает Тома. Том завоевывает привязанность Дикки. Молодые люди проводят вместе целые дни. Однако Дикки — человек увлекающийся и быстро остывающий. Пресноватый Том ему быстро приедается. И тогда приходит время применить мистеру Рипли свои таланты, которые он считал несущественными, — мастерское умение имитировать голоса и повадки людей, а также подделывать их подписи. А позже обстоятельства складываются так, что он решает занять место Дики, утопив его.

jurglesmine for your information russian has a much larger vocabulary than english and an extraordinarily rich literary heritage which you might be aware of if you had a bit more education! So you are only exposing your ignorance, stupidity ad arrogance in your remarks...nothing to be proud of! I am American but have learnt four other languages including russian and it has brought me a tremendous richness both in terms of understanding history but also reading Russian classics..educate yourself!

Hi! I am more than glad that I can find the boat scene in any language, if at all. I do not own the DVD, and the one from our local library has lots of scratches in them. English is not my first language, so I hope I am not offending anyone. If you own this DVD, then would you kindly post the boat scene in English?
