darwen stable fire, Ode To Billy Bunter and Friends, original song...

billy bunter died in his stable in a fire, i wrote this song has a tribute to the horses that died that night....
he was my daughters horse, a really friendly chap, so sweet, i really do miss him, so much, even though he was not with us long, he was one of those horses that just got into your heart as soon as you meet them.
the fire was in darwen lancashire england, at whalley stud stables on the 14thjuly 2008. and was a arson attack, 4 horses died that day, another 3 where saved by the stable owner and firemen

yes, mary still owns the stables.. and mary has has put some new stables on, that are converted shipping containers and they looks really realy good, and plenty of lights.. it looks really good.. she has done such a good job of it.. alan.

Allen, you did your horses right by singing this. Never been in a fire but had to watch my next door neighbor;s horse be put to sleep.. COLIC and twisted bowell Was tough as I loved her horse as much as she did. I took care of him on my land. SOOO sorry for your loss my friend.
