Same with my hand and foreram. Cat bit me and I got it. I was on the strongest antibiotics you can get in pill form w/o having to be put in the hospital. They killed the infection, but the side effects sucked hard! Oh well, small price to pay for keeping a limb.

I also had staph, mine was in the leg, my leg swelled up so big that i could barely walk. the hospital immediatly sent me into surgeory. they actually cut my leg open and took out all the bacteria. i was on antibiotics for 3 weeks. they said i was lucky to still have that leg. staph is nothing fun to deal with.

aww im sorry :((( i have had staph for three years now and i am going to the hospital to get another one drained again tomorrow. i know how this feels.

I had to take care of my ex girlfriend; hers was on her butt and one on back of her knee. The one on the back of her knee started to deteriorate the tendon. They were both getting rather large (size of fist) since neither of us knew what it was.
ATLANTA GIRL!!! I am in Marietta. Been her all my life and love it.
Hope the infection is better.

Wow, your ex's staph infection sounds pretty severe. I hope she's better. P.S., I've always been a been a Georgia girl myself!

yo i had a staph infection a week ago they drained it but didnt get it all out so i needed surgery it was on my big toe joint on my right foot. im still recovering.

I know that's no fun! I promise you'll get better. Take good care if it and eventually there will be nothing but a scar. Good luck!
