They achieved all of their objectives: overthrow and kill Saddam Hussein along with Uday and Qusay Hussein and his regime (check), take Falluja from the Sunni insurgents twice (check), defeat the Shia Madhi (check), and use the remnants of the Sunni and Shia to hunt down and and kill Al Qaeda including Al Zarqawi and Abu Omar al-Qurashi al-Baghdadi and Abu Ayyub al-Masri (check mate)! The US Army also destroyed the Iraqi insurgency that wanted civil war (25,300 dead insurgents including Al Zarqawi and his two top successors).
