Shawn Hennessy Witkowski plays Claude Debussy - 'Voiles...', from Book I of Preludes
Edinburgh, 26th February 2011. Performed on an 1880s grand piano.

Shawn Hennessy Witkowski (born in 1989) is studying piano and harmony at the University of Edinburgh under Peter Evans and John Kitchen.
He has previously studied under Pierre Faraggi and Frédérique Fontanarosa, both pupils of Alfred Cortot. He has also received advices from Roy Howat and Nicholas Ashton.
He gave his first public recital in Saint-Cloud (France) in June 2005, aged 15.
He won the 2nd prize in the Elizabeth Ritchie Competiton Class in the Edinburgh Competition Festival 2011.

Shawn Hennessy Witkowski is currently studying Music and Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
