Do some of the major beliefs and rituals of Islam come from pre - Islamic pagan, Jewish & Christian sources?

Is Allah really a "moon god"?

This Debate is a refutation of Dr. Robert Morey's book, "The Moon God Allah in the Archaeology of the Middle East.", in which he attempt to point out that Allah is the Moon God of Ancient Arab.

He is the author of forty-five books, some of which have been translated into Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Finnish, Chinese, Norwegian, Swedish and Polish.

He is the Executive Director of the Research and Education Foundation, an organization dedicated to researching issues which affect not only the future of the Christian Church, but also Western thought and culture.

Dr. Morey is the typical Christian interpreter of the Qur'an. He studies some basic facts about Islam to make it sound like he is a scholar. But he remains spiritually dead inside because he is tied-up with his attachment to the Trinity and the Godhead of Jesus. I'm lucky the Christian dogma never took root inside me despite years of Sunday school at an early age. God is great!

Pre-Islamic? Islam means submission to God so it was there since the beginning of time! He contradicts himself!
