In 2003–2004 the Fremont varsity cheerleaders took 1st place in every cheer competition in which they competed, including the National Cheerleading Association Championships in Anaheim.

@BlackHawkDiamondSwan Yes, I am aware that the 2003-2004 cheer team was exceptional. Every year is a different year and with that comes different circumstances to take into account. For example, there were new coaches and as old cheerleaders graduate, new ones come in. The FHS cheer program literally had to be rebuilt and they are on the right track. As for the male cheerleaders, you cannot make males tryout if they do not want to.
