Dal Master originale è stato possibile ricuperare questa aria con la qualità audio perfetta. Fu uno dei più grandI successi della Verrett, nel massimo momento della sua vocaltà . Cantano con lei Piero Cappuccilli, Nicolay Ghiaurov e Veriano Luchetti. Peccato che anche questa stupenda produzione con la regia di Strehler non si potrà mai vedere commercializzata per i noti motivi.
Ho lasciato la totalità degli applausi con le espressioni di estrema commozione che manifestò la Verrett alla fine dell'aria.
