  • Biblical rootical vibes.

It still facinates me how 2 German Techno boffins (+ their various vocal collaborators) could create such authentic dub sounds, but with a new twist. Genius.

All these 10''s are blinding, and all the Rhythm and Sound stuff they did too. And the Basic Channel, and the Main Street... and .... : )

  • Burial Mix is the label (sublabel of Chain Reaction) of these genius producers. And it's been around longer than Burial the dubstep-producer. It wouldn't even surprise me if he borrowed his name from this label!

  • Red Stripe and a big fat one to go please...

  • ah yeah!!! all i need is a beer!!!

  • @fullercrew yeah, the stuff they reissued on Wackies was good too - that's how I discovered The Lovejoys (Roots/Lovers female duo). Mark 'n' Moritz know their onions !

  • @Phume303 agree, the collaboration of people and place is interesting. from what i know it didnt really spread much. (in case it did pls let me know) Perhaps too difficult to copy. it just doesn't get much better then this. remember buying this nearly ten years ago and its just as good as as the first time played. timeless masterpiece.....

  • @MiAmMiJah Would make perfect sense if he did borrow the name. He sticks closer to Dub than Dubstep in my opinion. Mellow choon as well, spark one up and take a toke, my treat ;P

  • @funkykingston13

    its called DUB!

  • @Phume303

they are massive reggae heads mate. they play reggae a fair bit out and about. plus the hardwax shop in berlin which they are involved with has some serious reggae stock

  • great track! the instrumental is great to be mixed with some 4/4 techno too, deep stuff
