I hauled this home on a trailer in the Fall of 2008. After cleaning out the fuel line and replacing some electrical components it started. This past winter it lost compression and I have slowly been working on getting it going again. The brakes are next.
I had a 41 dodge pickup in high school. Loved that truck till i got tbone in the drivers door. Does your have the electric heater in it ? I'd like to find one of those, they worked great .

I'd be willing to bet it is the original engine.Chrysler Corp.used 5% more nickel in their blocks than any other car maker.Nickel makes the blocks super hard and almost impossible to destroy.Go to any junk yard and you'll see rods hanging out of the sides of chevy and fords, never on a Chrysler product.
