This is a pretty good depiction how it really went in Tibet. But the reality was much more awfull. Approx 1 mill. Tibetans, monks and nuns were tortured in the most unhumane ways and killed. 2/3 of all monasteries destroyed. Mao invaded Tibet for it's strategical position, land and resources. Tibetans are now minority in their own land, they aren't allowed to leave it, many try to escape to India. China gets rich from Tibetan resources, tourist attractions and migrations of Hans.

Get off your high horse, because that's just the way life is. If you can't change it, leave it alone. The movie is done, nothing you say can change that. Like I said before, if you don't like the movie quit watching it and ruining the experience for others by making rude and derogatory statements.
Don't hate on Americans just because of how you perceive them. Not all of us are like that, and you should know better.
You are just as arrogant as you perceive us Americans to be.
