Ground poles

Last year we worked on flat work, this year we are introducing jumping. The goal is to try some low level eventing this fall, starting with conditioning and getting Lotti to pick her feet up. LOL Be forgiving of the constant leg movement - I had to give lots of encouragement for forward movement.

She wasn't actually pulling on me, nor was I in her mouth. It is hard to really see what is happening from short blips on a video. She has quite a few bad habits that we are slowly and gently correcting . Her prior home was as a mount a 9 yr old girl despite only being backed 3 times. The mom thought she was pretty and never took into consideration that a 9 yr old kid and totally green horse aren't a good mix. I am just happy they didn't totally ruin a very willing mare.

some movement as she was turning on to the path as a fairly green horse that is just learning to trot over ground poles doesn't add up to pulling or being in her mouth. Again, a youtube video is not an accurate means of discerning what is really happening.
