  • Very interesting but I wish they were numbered.

  • Good paper piecing video. It's not so difficult when you get the hang of it, but it is *so* much more useful to see the technique here than just to read about it. I must say, though, that I originally watched the video because I was mystified by the title. FYI, a "velum" (long e) is a term in biology for connective/membraneous tissue (like that little bit of flesh connecting your inside lower lip and gums), Couldn't imagine how this was connected to quilting! "Vellum" is fine paper.

I have been interested in quilting for many years but didnt do too much as the quilts in the quilt shows were so exact and precise I didnt think my work was good enough........ you have now shown me how those people made them so exact ....
