I don't think it's political. I can see why LOOKING at the lyrics looks like it, but look at his face and listen.. She left him/cheated on him, and he doesnt really know cuz she is hiding away, and he's losing the battle within himself, whether she did or not, he shows up at their place, and she wont let him in, and he literally goes to the window ledge. The Pig is the other guy, and the Believers are her friends telling her she did the right thing. Now she wants space and he cant do anything ..

Then again that seems simple and not as exciting as a political agenda.. I just don't hear it. Just my opinion. I would love to hear others ideas also.

I do wish the rest of you would explain the political ramifications of this song..I must be blind because I thought it was about a love gone wrong. I stupidly never looked up the lyrics to this..and some of Danes words I'm not sure of because of the usual expression of musicians when they sing and sometimes distort the words from emotion. I am going to look up the lyrics now so bear with me please while I try to understand what the argument is about. Also thank you for your opinions.
