im im not way defending walmart in anyway but the walmart i work for in ohio on black friday we had 6 local police officers in there to keep the peace but alas that did no good they just laughed it was funny to them if i remember correctly we had 2 guy's get into it over a tv and one smacked the other right in the face with the tv resulting in a broken tv and broken nose i agree the black friday sales are fucking stupid

I hope Walmart gets sued

"They could easily afford to offer first class health care, wages, and security, while still keeping cost low...but that will NEVER happen."
If you can help them out with that bit of magic I'm sure they will hire you and pay well. Then you could be on of those who "stuff their fucking pockets with obscene amounts of cash every single day." At the same time you would help drive costs down with real rising wages. A true capitalist.
Work cures envy

Did Walmart have "reasonable preventative measures" at any of its other 3000 stores in the US? How many people have been killed entering Walmarts on black friday in the past 20 years?
This crowd was out of control.

Car manufacturers can't help it that some people drive like blind epileptics either. Does that mean they get a pass when they install defective seat belts or gas tanks? Hell no. When a risk is reasonably foreseeable (in this case obvious) and the gravity of harm which could be caused (serious injury or death) could be lessed or avoided altogether by reasonable preventative measures.. which aren't employed.. it's called "negligence". WalMart shares blame.

Its a shame that you're blinded by political correctness.
I shall pray for you also.

Walmart is the one making the money, bring the crowds to the store, and has the responsibility to provide security/ training for its workers. However we are all responsible for our actions and the people who value consumer goods over humans life are corrupting there souls. This is a cultural issue for sure, we can not keep blaming things like guns for violence, drugs for addiction, these are tools of expression. We need to take responsibility for what sort of society we are creating.
