fuck it just remember how much you get on a tank thats what my uncle does he resets trip miles or for u maybe kilometers and when u see you hit what you think is near ur tank mileage fill er up

Did you ever find out what was wrong? My Fuel gauge does the exact same thing. I don't want to rip out the tank for the sending unit unless I'm absolutely sure.

@Mooseguy15 $450 to repair what? I found a new sending unit for $90 bucks but I still havent gottin the time to do any testing with a 90 ohm resistor. If it is the sending unit that is bad, then Im gonna have to drop the tank for the 3rd time in 2 months.

@Mooseguy15 It only costs $127 to buy the sending unit and free if you get your hands dirty. Easy fix. Just take over 2 hours to do.
