Gagetown Ice breaking car ferry. If your travelling through New Brunswick Canada on the Transcanada freeway in the winter you have to take a short detour that bypasses the Bridge over the St John river and rejoins the freeway on the otherside. The 100 ton ferry cracking and grinding it's way through the frozen river is quite the trip. It looks like the ferry is pushing it's across a frozen prarie You can see the earilier ridges on the left side way the ice has moved down river and refrozen
