yes they did. if you do a search for it on youtube you can find it. it's called 'i never heard'.

The song has been released in 1990 by Safire. Search on youtube for "I never heard" song by Safire... It's a nice song written by MJ.

Thank you for that info! I went out on youtube and found it and listened to the other version. I have to say I like MJs way more.
