Joe Zappavigna has been practicing Chinese Martial Arts for over 10 years now. After he studied Hung Gar for 2 years with Shifu Abel and Harry, he switched to Shaolin Gong Fu and got trained by 34th generation and 32nd generation Shaolin Monks Shi Yang Ming and Shi Xing Hong. He went to China twice to study Gong Fu at the Shaolin Temple.

Joe Zappavigna currently has a Shaolin Gong Fu School in Montreal, Canada. He teaches kung fu, taichi , qi gong and sparring which is similar to sanda.

However, if you live in Montreal, why bother going to Ontario when there's an existing school taught by Shi Xing Hong's own students?

This video that has Joe Zappavigna, has a school in Montreal, Canada already. He was (as seen in this video) taught by Master Shi Xing Hong (also in this video, after Shi Guo Song) -- another authorized Shaolin gong fu teacher by the Shaolin Temple, who also has over 30 years of experience in the art.

It's nice to see there is another school in Canada with an authorized shaolin monk teaching.

I go to that shaolin school in montreal where Sifu Joe teaches. You can see he was trained by Sifu Shi Xing Hong at the shaolin temple in china.

I have previously tried out other schools but none have the authenticity of true ancient martial art teachings as did Sifu Joe's school.

Nothing is watered down at all like almost all other martial art schools you see out there today.
