@MRWAYLAND yep, and then you have to pay the federal government another 30 percent taxes on the profit. Wink wink.
-
You do realize that is 9% on the sale and another 9% on shipping!
You don't net a profit on shipping, and sure ebay saids offer free shipping!
I went down to my post and asked them for free shipping they told me *^%$#@$%^*
There is no free shipping! someone has to pay!
-
@MRWAYLAND Yea but it's worth 9% because you have access to the whole country at one time. The power of diversified population statistics is very powerful. There is no other forum like Ebay that you can get to that many people with your item.

You could try media mail. It might qualify and you'd save a lot.

Priority Mail is usually cheaper for items under 4 pounds, especially when you consider the box is free. Gotta love those free Priority boxes! :-)

I don't know if this helps, but if I am not mistaken a company known as Eldon Industries made a brand of slot cars known as "Selectronic" in the 50s, 60s or 70s I want to say. Maybe the mystery toy is a toy manufactured by Eldon for slot cars.
Nice job here, you have enough left over from the 15 to cover ebays b.s. shipping fee with change left over

Nice tip. Even without the flat rate box, priority mail is often less expensive than parcel. Typically 1-2 pound items its less and 3lbs or larger parcel is the way to go. If its going across county, the flat rate boxes are awesome.
