This is Hank & I just messing around one day at a barn the day before our Celebration debut. I broke Hank myself in January and have been training him myself ever since. He's a 3yo Gelding by WGC Ted Williams and out of a Pride of Midnight granddaughter. His conformation is breed standard and has an absolute heart of gold and mind of wisdom. He's my little angel! He is currently 15.3 and growing every day. He was raised by Hal Newman in Shelbyville, TN and is a half brother to successful show mare, Miss JoJo. His dam has produced over $250,000 in show horses. We currently are leading in High Points in the state of Georgia in Trail Pleasure, as well as the horse with the highest points period in the GWHEA., but show all over the South East. He gets a little better every day and by next year, we'll be twice as competitive! He wears a regular competition lite shod 3/8x3/4, shoe shoe up front and medium trailers behind. He's sound and natural in every way and spends his week days in the pasture with his best pal, Sunshine!

  • I am so surprised that a young girl would be part of this horrible horse abuse , deforming horses 's feet , the suffering involved is simply sick , I am just surprise that you would take part of that

  • I think it's sad you would believe my pasture horse is deformed. Hmm. If you would like pictures of his hooves, provide your e-mail & I will be glad to send some. They're completely natural in length & angle. Thanks for your blind ignorance, any ways.

  • thanks a lot,ill keep an eye on them.he loves the change.

  • I bet! We used to take all our padded horses down during the winter & turn them out! They loved it. If you have any gaiting problems, let me know. (Some times it's hard to square one back up from pacing after pads)

  • i thought he`d pace my ass off but not really,i rode him today for about an hour.he a walking fool.he gets better evry time.i have to work him in splint he knicks himself alot.

  • That's common, Hank has them on in this video & every time I ride him. I some times ride in bell boots as well. But ya gotta watch out for those, they some times rub the hair out of the pockets & that may look suspicious to some DQPs. Leg weights, wet wraps, chains & rollers on the back legs (ankles) will help him behind if he ever gets pacey. Get a video of him up!

  • you are really annoying. and should go get a life since you DONT know what you are talking about! i know this horse and have shown against her and he is a nice horse that is flat shod with a correct hoof.

  • Thats great! They're a LOT of fun. I've done the padded thing, too, but nothing compares to the versatility of one that's flat shod :) Be careful to watch Johnny's tendons, they'll probably get sore do to the weird angle change.

  • well you inspired me i took johnny down on the 21rst of september and hes going to be shown in trail pleasure for the rest of the season:)

  • Thanks! He gets a little better every day, and by this time next year he should be twice as good. I'm hoping to have him where he needs to be before he's 5. I know, I know, a long time from now BUT that's how it'll take due to the fact he was in such poor shape when we bought him :/ But thanks so much for the compliment!
