See my photos at http://momentsofnaturephotography.com. In this video I talk about camera settings that I use to capture long exposures of rivers. I use a nikon d3 in the video.

  • I love how bad this kid is at cinematography but so great at taking photos.

  • @munchbox1995 you think I am going to spend a huge amount of time making an awesome video for youtube, I spend about 20 min. max filming.

  • @QQQQcon oooohhhh so us guys who watch are not worth the time .... duly noted. =/

  • if I didnt care i wouldnt post the video at all, I cant spend hours filming a video for youtube so it looks amazing. It is about the information. if you want a pretty video you should not be watching a tutorial.

  • @munchbox1995 I was thinking the exact same thing!!

  • DID U USE A ND FILTERS?

  • what tripod is that?

  • does anyone know whether the coolpix P500 can take long exp. photos, and how long, i heard 8 seconds, is this long enough for good photos.

  • I would have also mentioned that it would be good to put a 2 sec shot delay in order to avoid camera move when you release the shutter.

    But that's my own opinion.

  • can't you use a neutral density filter to darken it and be able to use longer exposures?
