Personally, I like using stripper clips in the sks better than the ak style mag conversions.
But the other day I did find a problem. I bought some beautiful brass Yugoslavian ammo that works fine in all respects EXEPT that it's just about impossible to use with stripper clips. Steel cases work great but I think the brass is too soft and sticks. The rim dimention may also be the problem.
Check functionality of your ammo before loading an entire bandolier full of strippers like I did.
