This is my "pilot" show for the 1985-86 season, which turned out to be the last season for the "NightLife" show. Betamax was a better video format, and better quality than VHS.

Except for camcorders, the 8mm videotape format never caught on in the home video market, but interestingly it did become the standard format for airlines' in-flight movies!
