Part 135: Do you think there's room for two more friendly people?

Mary tells Vince about her trip to see MJ. Mary will probably always struggle with those missing 17 years.The idea of moving by MJ is very appealing to Mary. The back and forth dialogue between Mary and Vince is so very comforting. They are so comfortable with one another. Sigh. Jason comes in and stirs up the pot some. He asks Mary's advice. This time he stays away from hitting on her. (This is the last scene between Denise and Chris until they meet again 13 years later on GH in one of the worst re-writes of history that has ever been done.)

Through mentions by Jake or others in passing i appears all the McKinnons lived happily ever after in Minneapolis. In fact I think they missed one of Jake's weddings because MJ and Adam had just had a baby.

Love Mary admitting that she misses being called Momma and their joy about their new "adventure" - moving closer to MJ & maybe even MIA Ben. Bittersweet for sure, but again, I'm just so grateful they left the show madly in love & ready to start over in a new city TOGETHER. (Espec. after the botched GH R&L story you mention-my sympathies!) Can't resist noting that Jason was creepy to the bitter end. Not sure why he was hustling Mary for the dr info, but knowing him, he was up to no good.

When I saw this for the first time I cried like a baby..I could not believe Mary and Vince were leaving..I didn't read soap magazines or things in that nature so I really don't know why DA/RH left the show but I guess if one left the other had too.What kind of a story could the writers come up with if only one stayed..DOes anybody really know why DA left?
