@Wintertuber Sotomayor's comment is true; but I don't get the drift that she will act in an impartial manner to the litigants before her. I think making a comment like that may make her predisposed to certain legal arguments, ireespective of their constitutionality which is what she is tasked with doing as a SC justice.

@jamesklosowski Not only, but I'm pretty sure a large portion did not accurately know his policies or stances on the issues. The reason Obama did not landslide McCain as he should have with the economic crisis o 2008 reflects this opinion that American citizens were beginning to see through his impressive, yet unpracticable and false rhetoric. Obama won not just because he was a black individiual, but also because people wanted change irregardless of what his policies were.
