  • uh michael jackson's thriller would be better just saying.

  • WOAH! Love the inverted bent cuban eight!

Now guess what happens next? That's right, handbuilding snobs show up and tell me I'm cheating because I use a method that's different, and actually more realistic than what they use, saying "it takes no skill." (false).

Now you come blithering into this thread, necro a year-old flame war, and have the nerve to call me an elitist asshole?

No. Incorrect. I award you no points. You lose. You fail. Goodbye.

  • @Omnigeek6

being equal. The fact is, handbuilding takes a LOT of time, and given a limited amount of time to spend on a ride, I like to take advantage of Newton's speed and try out different layout options so I can find the one I want, and then spend the rest of the time I save into making detailed, realistic supports and scenery. I take the option that lets me make better rides in less time, and so would any real company choosing what software to design their rides with.

  • @Omnigeek6

to ride if it were ever actually built. In fact, it would probably give every single rider horrible injuries. It would also be physically impossible because the rails go THROUGH the supports in places.

I do agree that someone who can handbuild as smoothly as if he/she were using tools is an incredible designer. The problem is: very few designers have the talent or patience to handbuild that well, and at any level below that, using tools WILL produce a higher-quality track, all else

    *facepalm*

You are replying to a year-old comment. I thought I had too much time on my hands, but this is just pathetic.

Anyway, I'd like to note that the "silly elists" and "elitist assholes" here are the NL users claiming that using tools is cheating, and expecting everyone to play by their rules. I am not one of those people.

I also think it's safe to assume that I represent every single viewer on this video who is not a complete idiot when I say this would be very painful

  • @Omnigeek6 Silly elitists always expecting everyone to be playing by their rules.

Honestly, as underwhelming as this is, I think it's safe to assume I represent the majority of the 4,811 viewers this video has had when I say "THIS IS *NOT* PAINFUL." Thank you.

Try and be less of an elitist asshole.

Oh, and I agree with Tsunami: Someone who can freehand on-par with someone who uses a guide-tool is FAR more talented than the latter. Learn to free-hand first, then improve it with guide-tools.

  • i have one thing to say... WHERE ARE THE TICKETS?!?!?!?!?!?!
