  • i probably shouldnt b watching this since i am like suuuper hungry right now lol

  • They're called bean sprouts...b.t.w. can i use brown rice instead of white rice?

and is it true that you must use old rice to prevent it from sticking to the pan?

And what did you meant with Dark soy sauce? Is it the one that tastes like B.B.Q. Sauce? [Sugary and thick]

  • You forget to add the white strip that looks like onion but tastes different, i forget it's name...but in my region that's what they put on the dish..anyways thank you for uploading your instructions...I'm off to make my own rice! :)

  • Sorry but it's looks too soggy... the rice is a bit sticky and not loose.

  • Chef Kai, I followed your insructions and made shrimp fried rice for the first time, and it was amazing. Thank you for the demonstration, it really helps :)

  • very easy i love chinesse food

  • @mlee2001 Thanks

  • To comments below- you will not die from scratching a pan, nor will you get "heavy metal poisoning" from these activities. The reason you use plastic utensils with nonstick pans is because you may damage the coated surface, causing a degradation of surface quality, or ingest small quantities of the coating. If those urban cooking legends were true, you, and everyone who had ever eaten from pans would already be dead, or on the way.

  • could you please show me how to cook singapor style chow-men thankyou .

  • @starguard from what ive seen, the rice should be leftover from the day before and not sticky but so that each grain is visible( i.e not mush, lol) but thats just what ive seen and will try tonight-:) good luck with yours!
