@theBlockerOnline Yeah I like the old SKY logo better than the new lowercase sky and I think the NATIONAL thing is kinda pointless. Good that it's been moved to the left to look better in 16:9 tho and that they got rid of the press red on the right

but i surely hate the Channel DOG, because it's too long... why don't they just use the Australian map just like before?

Interesting... they seem to have slightly updated the TOTH music, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a new theme waiting for after the election. Couple of notable changes, they have gone fully wide screen now and have moved the logo further to the side and updated it to look like the new UK logo. The ugly blue 'press red' active thingy that used to be in the top right hand corner is gone and has been replaced with the little changing text under the logo on the left.

What does the 'press red' application look like? The UK one has reverted back to four quarter screens streams recently rather than 8 full screen streams they used to have.

@jeffrey44 watch?v=U5u7sjXDcC8 - there are a couple of different active services they have, Sky News 'multiview' which has 8 screens with streams like sport, headlines, politics, live sky uk, etc... and they have another thing called 'Sky News Local' which have 6 streams (5 with different local news for Aus' 5 main cities and 1 with weather). The Sky Business channel and A-PAC (like C-SPAN) also have their own active services.

Oh, and I don't like the new voice over guy. His "THIS IS SKY NEWS, AUSTRALIA's NEWS CHANNEL" doesnt sound nearly as 'powerful' or 'official' as the guy they used to have.

Also the presenters are announcing themselves again - been awhile since they have done that.
