Once again I see new construction at the New York Times printing plant. I called the community board and city councilman's office but they were not notified of this. How come the NY Times printing plant and the New York City Economic Development Corporation can get away with these consistent affronts? Is a city agency acting on behalf of a corporate entity at the expense of New York City's citizens?
Thanx for posting this. More independent investigative journalists is what we need. Has there been any electrician or engineer who can tell you anything about those towers? They're defiantly not lighting rods.

I wish I knew more about this technology but to place those microwave towers so close to hundreds of residences without community review or approval makes me realize how close we are to losing our Democracy! This is especially true when you realize that these are devices for "Homeland Security." I am not against having technology to benefit the city's emergency services. However, I believe that the health and welfare of the community needs to be taken into account.
