The peddles are adjustable, and you would love it. Just bought one.

Cool vid...I'm in the market for a Hobie but so far, undecided on the PA or the Outback. It'll be a Hobie though because that Mirage drive is AWESOME. Maybe I'll get a PA for me, and an Outback for the Mrs. Quick question, actually 2.
How big are you. My interest in the PA is based off of being 6' and 260 lbs....I'm a wide boy :) The second question is, you're movin' pretty quick. Do you have the Turbo fins on? Thanks.

I'm big enough! Ha! Actually similarly sized....okay I'm bigger than you but still. I fit just right in both the Outback and the Pro Angler. I like the Pro Angler better but both work great. I was using the ST Turbo Fins on the videos but I've used both and they are all great. If you are going to be on a small body of water, get the stock fins. If you want to go any distance, then get the ST Turbos. Good luck and be sure to mention me when you buy those kayaks!

does it have reverse and how do you turn
boatbros23 2 years ago
There is reverse, it is called a paddle. Having fished out of the Pro Angler a lot this past summer, I very rarely needed to go in reverse. It has a tight turning radius.
Turning is easy. If you notice in the video, my left hand is operating a steering control lever. It is mounted on the seat and is very easy to access yet it doesn't get in the way.

I haven't met anybody who has used one that is taller than 6 ft 3 in but my guess is that you'd have no problem with it. The best way to determine that is to contact your closest Hobie dealer and take the boat out for a ride.
Price range is right around two grand. Well worth it!
