To the casual viewer! Read the story below on. DR was right on the money. The camera noise is intrusive but he and GW and OCMS still manage to deliver a moving rendition of a beautiful song.
Saw you guys at the Open House Belfast 10. I truly hope you will all be coming back to Northern Ireland in 11

My apologies to everyone I bothered at this and any other show. I love music and try hard to stay out of the way of others who are enjoying shows. My goal is to document shows for people who can't attend. In this case I was doing a series on Waterloo Records for the Austinist. I didn't know that my camera is so loud - I'm hard of hearing and most concerts are amplified. Ironically, I chose this camera because it can shoot without a flash, but I no longer use it at acoustic or intimate shows.

Willie's eyes get as big as saucers!

btw, i cannot stop listening to "a friend of a friend" been on constant rotation in my 2001 pontiac grand prix with broken gas gauge.

HAH! that is great! i was waiting and waiting 'cause that guy was so damn intrusive. you could see willie biting his tongue too right before dave snapped at 'eem. ketchum's reaction is funny as hell also.

That's great. The clicking of that camera was very loud, I can't believe the photog would have so little awareness of his intrusion.
Did Dave have anything else to say after the song was over?

Oh that is hilarious. Photographer is Steve Hopson. He has a great photo of Rawlings yelling at him. I will send you the link.
Nope - he didn't say anything else. It was fast, to the point and then it was over. I was struck by how genuine and friendly he and Gillian are. They sincerely looked to be enjoying themselves and enjoying interacting with everyone.....well, except...
