737NG home cockpit taxi out and takeoff at the famous Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten, NA on a busy Saturday afternoon. The hawk eyed among you will notice that something isn't quite "right" during the takeoff. Comment and show me how smart you are! Also note the Caribbean Airlines 737-800 going around due to traffic on the runway at the beginning of the video.

FS2004, wideFS, and Project Magenta networked over 6 PCs, with three projectors warped over a 24' curved screen providing the visuals. Hardware components are from Flight Deck Solutions, CPFlight, Poldragonet, SISMO, and ACE. The seats are out of a real UPS 727-100QPF. Yes, I know the yokes aren't linked and there are visible projector seams on the screen. The latter is on the "to do" list, along with about 50 other projects.

Enjoy!

  • No matter who many times I see your videos I just gotta say! I just love you're total commitment to your hobby, very impressive!

  • I see what happened, the landing gear lights went red before you pulled the lever up

  • i think i found the problem during the take off, first you inmidietly take off when you just hit the position on the runway, i think you shut stand still for a moment and wait for green light before taking off and for the safety of the plane, and second i think you used the flaps while taking off but i don't know if thats a problem or not. :)
