@ColeMcGrath Obama's approval rating is still in the low 50s. Bush's tanked into the 20s at one point.

Also I think this video is a bit tongue in cheek; Sam the Eagle is sort of a caricature of the stuffy, jingoistic American conservative.

Obama's ratings went under 50 back in March or something of that time.

Obama's rating has dropped the fastest in history since the ratings were started. It may not be the lowest yet. His rating is lower than Bush's though compared to Bush's first year.

And despite how true my muppet comment was about being more patriotic than the pres. Just a joke, hence the "nyuk nyuk nyuk"
