Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is an upcoming computer-animated film based on the series of children's fantasy books Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky. Zack Snyder is directing the film, and Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor, David Wenham, and Emilie de Ravin voice the characters. Production took place in Australia at Animal Logic, and the film is scheduled to be released on September 24, 2010. It will be released in part in RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.

Legend of the Guardians is based on the first three installments of the book series: The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue

The voice cast includes Sam Neill, Hugo Weaving, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachel Taylor, Helen Mirren, Abbie Cornish, Jay Laga'aia, David Wenham, Emily Barclay, Miriam Margolyes, David Field, and Richard Roxburgh
