Are you a Celt at Heart? Or maybe you just prefer to see the world through Eyes of Wonder? Accept the existence of Faerie, Dryads, Wood Nymphs, Undines, Selkie, Dragons, Magic? The Otherworld? Green Man? The Goddess? If any of these are true for you, then you just might enjoy this little video I put together about 3 years ago. It has just a very small sampling of fantasy art I have collected on my computer. The music, of course, is traditional, titled for a well-loved old-growth tree by the name "Bonny Portmore", lamenting the deforestation of Ireland to build the Royal Navy's fleet, is here arranged, played, and sung in angelic voice by Loreena McKennitt:

None of the artwork is mine. Only the selection and arrangement of it and choice of the music is mine, arranged merely for something to do.

  • Likewise.

  • forever there will be the mystery of another world in our minds ! and maybe we have been there at one time. because we seem to now what every thing looks like there.I

hope then that one day I shall be able to return .

A very wise assessment ~ Those people who irresponsibly poo-poo all mention of Otherworldly incursions into our "reality" and discount centuries of reports of such influences upon our "race" are merely condemning themselves to an eternally boring existence. The influences of the Otherworld, though not always agreeable, are rarely "boring"! Vive le "mystère"!

  • Perhaps, it is possible the Basque people ressembled a bit to the Celts after so many centuries living beside them, yet they are much more ancient, if fact they are the first known inhabitants of that northern part of Hiberia. Put in your mind though that Basques and Celts are not originally related. Basques are no of Indo-European origin as Kelts are. They lately mingled, so they came to ressemble each other.

  • @montseJFK

As I've come to understand it, the Basque people were descended from the original neolithic inhabitants of Western Europe, already present long before either the Romans or the Celtiberians.
